Official Posting Schedule (Summer)
Thank you all for the prompts! Since we had a smaller number of prompts this round, all prompts will be used in the schedule; the schedule is therefore under a cut because of its length.
July 1st
—(Mostly Inm.-specific) An alternate timeline where the companion (Enkidu/Durandal) reincarnated as often as the Eternal Hero and Dark One.
—Any ship (or gen): one character has to admit they aren't okay and another character taking care of them
—The security officer on Tau Ceti
—Alien beach vacation (bonus for unexpected Pfhor-on-holiday encounters)
—Durandal's long term goals are agnostic about whether the Security Officer survives. And yet the Security Officer always seems to be involved in the methods he comes up with to achieve those goals. Will Durandal update his parameters or not? (Perhaps he's confronted by some external stimulus that highlights the contradiction?)
—The AIs have a friends-date during the journey to Tau Ceti
—The security officer goes with Blake and the BoBs in M2
—5 people [AI of your choice] didn't like (+1 they did)
July 2nd
—Alternate setup to Rubicon's Tycho Plank where, after being contacted by Tycho, the Security Officer goes straight to Durandal, and the three of them figure out what to do (after Tycho stops grumbling about it)
—Tycho the Bad Advice Columnist
—temporary deaging
—Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles crossover (or fusion)
—Is Strauss dead? Probably. Is there some pattern buffer salvaged by one of the fleeing crews? ...maybe
—An alternate Infinity timeline where the security officer is sent on a mission with still-enslaved S'pht and has to struggle with the constraints of pretending to be conditioned (or actually conditioned) into obedience to Tycho & the Pfhor
—Meta stuff involving the Cortana Letters: post-Infinity, the SO gets found by Cortana and mostly agrees to partner up with her because she reminds them of Durandal (and is perhaps hoping that in doing so, they'll find him again)
—Durandal & Tycho during "The Big House," either Marathon 2 or the Infinity versions
July 3rd
—Security Officer back story. Body horror optional but definitely OK
—(NSFW) [Retry] (Inm.-specific) After a few difficult hours in the gym, Vince decides to help Durandal relax and unwind with some lovemaking in the showers
—Groundhog Day/repeating time loop AU
—temporary bodyswap
—Durandal and the SO finally break into a Pfhor black site. Turns out they vastly underestimated how awful things are there, and Durandal's attempts to keep it together slowly break down
—Tycho tries to get Durandal’s attention by sending the SO a series of gifts (optional: these gifts get increasingly weird as time goes on). Durandal, predictably, is less than pleased
—Person of Interest fusion
—(NSFW) Alien gangbang (can be Pfhor/security officer, S'pht/security officer, S'pht/an AI, whatever inspires you)
July 4th
—Scars
—A day in the life of the Pfhor garrison on Lh'owon
—Durandal and the Security Officer bump into aliens from a different sci-fi canon
—The SO and Durandal come across the rusty, cobweb-choked remains of an AI core; they get to work seeing what, if anything, was left behind, while Durandal tries to hide his unease
—Durandal meets the Jjaro
—Infinity is just the W'rkncacnter playing with all the characters to see what happens when it mixes them up
—Alien religion (rituals/ceremonies, buildings, music, anything)
—(NSFW) Android!Tycho/SO hate sex, or at least angrily making out (must be consensual)
July 5th
—The garden from the "Kill Your Television" unformatted terminal
—Crossovers and fusions
—Battleroids: history, making of, use of
—Daily life on the Marathon while it was in transit to Tau Ceti. (AI bickering a plus.)
—Durandal asked "why do you always do what are you asked to"? at a certain point. And yes... why?
—unexpected affection
—The history of AIs (optional: and android vessels) in Marathon. Bonus points if you work in Rubicon's account of Traxus IV.
—(NSFW) Any AI ship: Wireplay with either an AI using the wires like tentacles OR wires as an erogenous zone for AIs
July 6th
—Tycho's clones are non-sentient helper programs by design, but in this scenario, Tycho has a chance meeting with one who became their own individual. (Nobody dies, but I imagine it's not a happy meeting.)
—Day Off
—When Manus Celer Dei came back to Earth, the SO was with Durandal, and he has a bunch of contrasting thoughts about this
—Bernhard Strauss makes a grand reappearance at the most awkward time: when Durandal and Tycho are fighting over something
—loyalty to the dead
—Leela in the Vylae network
—Durandal (either as an AI or android) has to physically help a battered Security Officer back on board
—Ghost AU (AIs are ghosts)
