Seven Days of Marathon

Hello, everyone, and thank you so much for participating in this round of Seven Days of Marathon! The official posting period is now closed, but the AO3 collection and community remain open for the amnesty period, which runs from July 8th to July 14th. Any prompt from this round or the winter round is open for filling and being posted, as are any creations not inspired by one of the prompts.

—Tycho's clones are non-sentient helper programs by design, but in this scenario, Tycho has a chance meeting with one who became their own individual. (Nobody dies, but I imagine it's not a happy meeting.)

—When Manus Celer Dei came back to Earth, the SO was with Durandal, and he has a bunch of contrasting thoughts about this
—Bernhard Strauss makes a grand reappearance at the most awkward time: when Durandal and Tycho are fighting over something

Today is the last official full day of prompting, so get those prompts in if you have them! Since this announcement is going up a little late, I will leave the prompting post open a few extra hours and post the official schedule of prompts on May 17th, but if you have any prompts you're really excited to leave, definitely prompt them sooner rather than later.

Hi, all! Since there was some interest in having a summer round of this fest, I'm very happy to say that we will be holding it. Currently, our planned schedule is to have prompting from May 1st through May 15th, the prompt schedule posted on May 16th, the posting period from July 1st–July 7th, and an amnesty period from July 8th–July 14th. The introduction post has been updated with this schedule.

Because our first round of Seven Days of Marathon was such a rousing success (and so much fun), we've been thinking of holding a summer round if enough people are interested in participating. This post is an interest check: if you think that you would be willing and able to to take part in another round of the fest over this summer, please comment and say so! (Anonymous commenting is enabled.)

The tentative schedule, if it runs:

Prompting: May 1st–May 15th
Creating: May 16th–June 30th
Posting: July 1st–July 7th (Bungie Day!)
Amnesty Period: July 8th–July 14th
